I painted my interoir trim pieces over the the summer and didnt really do the best job. But now im going to get it done right and by a shop for really good price. So I wanted to know what is the best way to remove the old paint of the pieces? I really appreciate all your help this site is really helpful. Also any suggestions on interior color, i had red but i thought i might
do another color, my car is black and same with interior. Thanks

it isn't worth it to remove the paint. have them sand it down until the surface is even and paint over that. most paint removers also damage plastics. Either that or get new pieces.

i would use 400 grit sandpaper and water. go over it gently numerous times until it is smooth. that is what i did and it turned out better. you can also get this stuff called Bulldog, it's like a primer but it makes paint stick to any surface...awesome product.

I painted my interior and now I want to go back to stock. I'll just buy new pieces, instead of hassling with repainting or taking it off.

I would just sand it down just do it untill its smoth... they have to prime it again anyway

What I did was at my job we have a pressure sprayer and I just blasted the s$%t out of them until the paint came off because I didn't sand mine before painting them , even though mine came out really good I didn't want them painted anymore.good luck
