Speed governors
does everyone with our 7th gens have a speed limiter that seems to kick in when you reach 112 mph and is there any ways to tweak around it like the rev limiter? does the aem plug and play eliminate this too?

Rep Power: 0 automatics suck after 110 she quits tryin, what i would like is a 5 speed auto transmissions outta the civic sedan that has the k20 in it, i think the phillipines has it over there if i'm thinkin right. i wonder if a 5 speed auto would be faster than a 5 speed manual since the time it takes to shift gears is eliminated? makes you wonder huh?

Rep Power: 403 yea, i took mine to 125 yesterday, but i slowed down, i know i was going liike 135 cause my bigger rims and i know my speedo is wrong cause when i installed my gauges...
All automatics are limited to 112 mph and all coupes are not limited but they pretty much top out at 125 mph. This has been discussed many times. Search.

I've hit 130MPH with my EX Coupe Manual. It was stock at the time and have smaller rims that what your supposted to have. It's easy geting it up that high. Just redline all the gears.

anyways i thought the lx,dx,hx models all have governers and the ex simply runs out of power(not quite sure if thats true)
anyways i thought i brought up a thread like this like a month ago and we all came to conclusion that you would need to reflash/reprogram the ecu to get past governers.
