AEM V2 and rain

I have a AEM V2 intake and I was driving in the rain and it seemed to shake once and a while like i got rain in the intake. I wasn't even runing the car hard just driving it normal. Don't the V2 have something to stop rain from geting in the intake ? If not is there something i can get so i can get it to block water from geting in or something that can help keep it out ? Thanks for your help.

yea, get a bypass valve, you can get them anywhere on performance websites, or any performance shop in your area. But they wont stop water from getting in their if you drive threw like a foot of water.

makes no sense.....it reaches a bit further than a short ram but not as long as a cold air.....and no AEM does not sell a bypass valve for the V2

I drove my car today and it drives fine. Just when i go in the rain. Might just have been very moister outside. I didn't want a bypass. I wanted something that will keep the water out. Are you supposted to put that cleaning kit on before you use it ?

RSDCivic will become famous soon enough
you can fit a bypass valve onto any intake... they're universal not intake specific

I put the AEM V2 Intake and Skunk2 Exhaust at the same time but it is amazing. My car feels so much quicker. I would recomend AEM or INJEN but i like AEM more.

I also hear this noise like it's sucking the water in but my friend said it feels like the exhaust.
