Shaved rear "H"

I searched, and only found one thread on this topic. I want to remove the rear H badge, but I know if I do, there will be two nasty holes in my trunk. I removed the EX and Civic badges, but I'm going for a really clean rear so the H is got to go. My question is, did any of you guys did it and filled the holes, and do you have to paint the whole trunk again? Thanks, and sorry for being such a Noob.

yes bondo is the only thing u can think of..

i got mine soldered with little alu pieces thought..

no, the hole trunk doesnt have to be repainted (as long as the color matches) but it needs to be clear coated (all of it).

yea i shaved mine and there are two squares sodered on the back and it was bondoed... and repainted...

it looks really clean with out it there..., i reccommend that you also shave the key hole and do a diy trunk popper...

now nobody knows what i have because i don't have the h in front and back... i really like the shaved look, well thats how i like all my ladies...

I welded my holes closed, ground them smooth and then used putty to make it perfect then had the whole car sprayed. You can see the finished product on member rides.

FLBrian...holy **** your ride is awesome. And Hondasport01, i love r34 kits, so you are my god. I gave up on shaving after I accintally shipped the paint taking off the 'civic' badge...I use 3m glue to put it back in place and now im scared...though to have the H and keyhole professionally done would look awesome...and I already have trunk shocks; just get stronger ones and I push POP and it shoots up on its own...yeah...

I always thought this emblem made a slick replacement for the trunk H. Some people like it and some hate it. It covers up the holes from the stock H and sticks on like the other emblems.

Just did some research and found out it was z2autosport that made that H emblem. Doesn't look like their site is up anymore and I don't know their ebay name, so I guess that idea is out.

It's kind of funny how people need to be told what a car is. Before I switched out my front grille, my car got searched when I went on base once, and the guards didn't know what type of Honda I had. They both asked me and had no clue. If I was a smartass, I would've said it was an S2000, but the automatic assault rifles they had on their backs persuaded me to tell them it was a Civic.

To those of you who've had your H's shaved, how much did it cost?
