04 Gauges in an 02 Civic?
yeah most of us like it.
a member has tried the swap already, and from his thread asking for help I gathered this info:
Harnesses and sockets of 2001-2004 gauges are all the same size.
BUT, the pin layout of the 01 & 02 harnesses are different from the 03 & 04 harnesses.
When he tried it out, parts of his newer type cluster didn't work , inside his 2001 Civic. That's because the newer type clusters have a couple more added functions, aside from just the new layout of the gauge pods.

pecX put the 03 guages into 01 Civic. He says that the ABS lights up.

I don't know whay you would want to get a gauge cluster with a smaller tach. I have always liked the larger tach and speedo set up then the smaller tach and BIG speedo. Its your car though, so do what you want, I'm just thrown out my 2¢.

I like my 02 cluster (with 01 parts) alot better. I already made the needles white during the day and blue at night. Just improve your old cluster.
