I just finished adding the Power Windows to my DX today. I was talking with some guys on aim and a good topic came to mind.

This is mainly for the dx/hx people...do you think that adding power windows or locks that aren't oem will hurt or help resale? At this point, I'm simply going to enjoy them while I have the car, but what about when I eventually trade it off? Do you think a dealer would penalize us for having non-oem windows and locks? I would mention the other mods, like sway bars, but those are pretty much invisible until they drive it.

I'm thinking that if you sell to an individual, they won't care, but the dealer...I dunno.

power will probably help the resale of the car especially in a dx/hx...of course this is just my opinion

yea im thinking it will help in the long run..
i dont see how it would really affect or "throw away" any other part of the car's value..

I would pay a little more for power windows and locks im thinking the average person is going to like it and youll probably get more money for it
