V 2 Lowering springs

Hey guys, got a question. How much can I lower my car with the factory tires and rims. Can't afford the new rims and tires yet. It's an LX sedan. Also If any one has heard of V 2 lowering coilovers let me know if they are good or not.

Thanx

If they are the KW v2's then they are good... if they are just some sleeved coilovers then don't waste your time or money because u'll regret it!

If money is an issue and you really want to lower your car then use a set of lowering springs, such as neuspeed or eibach... The ride will be decent and you could lower your car up to 2.25 inches, which can be pretty low....

And yes you can lower everything with your factory wheels...

edit: I just hope the V2 Coilovers you were talking about aren't these -> eBay

If those are the ones.... don't even bother... they'll ruin your ride and u'll regret it...

Those aren't it, but what could crappy springs do bad to your ride. Just curious and I was also looking at Eibach.

they could blow your shocks and damage your suspension parts...
Eibach wouldn't lower your car that much and it is pretty firm... My friend has the Eibachs and he likes my ride better...
I went with Neuspeed Sports (1.75 but more like 2) and the ride is excellent, in the summer i plan on getting either Tokico or KYB shocks (whenever they come out....)
You can also get the Neuspeed's in Race and that lowers your car 2.25...

If you have any more questions feel free to PM me...

I've got the Tein S. Tech and there great. The drop wont be as low as some of the other springs but there reliable and they also don't sacrifice ride quality to much.

i heard its best to stay away from sleeved coilovers. if you get springs i guess your best bet would be the neuspeed or goldline.

i have coilovers and the only time i ever really adjust them is when they self adjust when they get loose... omg, what a hassle. i thought the same thing, get coilovers so i could adjust it when i felt like it but i lost the tool and hitting the turny thing with a screwdriver and hammer takes too long and its bothersome... wish i just went with springs... soon enuff tho... soon enuff... oh if you have stock struts, get ready for a really boundy ride with sleeved coilovers...

I'm from Canada and last winter i went through it with DropZone coilovers... (they are sleeved and crappy like the V2 ebay ones...) I raised my car, and I was fine... but i regret getting those coilovers...
My friend went through the winter with his Neuspeed's and it was fine with his 2" drop...
So this year i'm sticking with my Neuspeed's.... but if you really want the ability to adjust spend the cash and do it right.. remember there is no cheap way to properly lower your car...
I spent $100 with the sleeved coilovers and it ended up costing me my shocks, and I had a really bad ride...
So in the end it'll cost you a lot more...

if you have any other questions feel free to PM me...

ok this is from my experience I have a 02 EX Sedan

eibach proline kit 1 to 1.5 inch drop in front and 1.5 to 2.25 inches in the rear

eibach sportline 1.5 inch drop in front and 2.50 drop in back due to the independent suspension

So I have eibach sportline springs in the front and eibach proline springs in the rear
