Unhappy Service Light WTF

Ok, so I'm driving home tonight from work and my service light goes on WTF is that about??? I had my oil changed just under 1k miles ago and have had no problems. Any ideas on what this might be? The car still drives fine but it's annoying having that light on. I parked and shut off the car and started up three more times and the light stays on.

ok what you do is you hold the reset millage button down for a count of ten (10) seconds, then you turn the car on to on ( right b4 the ingnition) thent he light will blink for 4 seconds and it will go out. what it is a 'idiot light' to remind dummys to get there oil changed. it comes on liek every 8k miles.
