does anyone have a 2002 civic ex with i/e/h 2.25 inch piping and a vafc2 with it being dyno tested and if yes can you please put vafc2 settings and is the setting for car select (4/upright/3 or 4/upright/2)
thanks
thanks
im in the same damn boat with you and it is (4 up 3) thats what the manuel says, and does it work ..... of course not. maybe there are specific settings to avoid cylinder or fuel cut because once it is set i can red line every gear... but when i come to idle and then pick back up it wont go past 3900. i checked the wiring numerous times... its all correct to the diagram. does yours work ?
get it tuned professionaly....just b/c somebody has your exact parts and everything...everybodys numbers are different...trust me i tried.....and if anything it will mess up your car.......its worth the 100$ or so......you will be happy....
just curious for anyone who might know but is the ecu wiring the same for 01 as 02? it has to be right? same car. i read on here somwhere that it works with 01 and not 02
the only way to do it is to dyno tune it
Tell me what you don't like about yourself....

Hey! Look At Me!! I'm a Supporting Member!! The correct setting is 4/up/1
4 up 1 ? the manuel says 4 up 3 !!!!! maybe this is why yours works and apexi is wrong. if you are right thank god, going to try this now !!!
Let me know if it works
Go try right now
or i might have to! This should remove that weird 4,000 rev limiter correct?
ok so that rules out 4 up 1 and i tried type 2 while i was at it same thing. that really would not make a difference right? because it is the area of the rpm band where your vtec kicks in ( low reving medium and high reving) do you ever stop and ask why do i waste so much time and money on a lost cause ? im starting to ... fly whatever you did different more power to you, just wish i knew what it was.
as you can tell iv'e devoted all my time to this thing ... i eat sleep and breath 7thgencivic forums... im going frekin bonkers... whats different about my 2k civic than everyone elses
**** man. this sucks i guess im going to fork out money to have my VAFC II work and run properly.
well i got raped for 40 bucks today to have my shop take the negative off and reset the check engine light. hope you get somthing figured out i havent
