Strut bar and AEM?

The AEM sits a bit high for a strut bar to reach over it. Does the strut bar reach around it or something else?

I had a freedom design bar on my saturn that fit fine, but the bend in the AEM (probably most other intakes as well) doesnt seem to allow clearance for the hood?

P.S.-any reccomendations.

A DC Sports or a Neuspeed strut bar will fit fine with an AEM intake, whether it is short ram or cai.

If you go click on "My Ride" you will see pictures of my car. I have an engine bay shot. I have a AEM polished SR intake and a DC Sports front upper strut bar installed. The strut bar clears the intake fine. Check it out!

sounds like a plan, the neuspeed isnt ugly, but the DC def. has the bling factor. If I wanted bling, I would be driving around in a Kia Sportage dropped with wide 13's. LMAO

How often do you show off your engine?

Neuspeed looks better because it's functional and doesn't look like it was made just for looks.

The Neuspeed bar is one piece.

If you insist on bling or whatever, Neuspeed makes a chrome one but it's like $20 more than the black one.

I have heard that the Neuspeed does function better than the DC, but I have a question for you people that bash the DC. Have you guys actually used the DC? I currently have it and I feel the difference and I am able to take tighter turns faster. All I am saying is, do not bash something, unless you have tried it. It is really funny how these people will bash DC, but yet not have experience with the product. Okay, I'm done.

as far as strut bars.

quality or quantity
Neuspeed - DC Sports

if you want "bling" get the polished neuspeed strut bar.. its shiny, and its still the same neuspeed strut bar.. costs a little more, but oh well..
