Rep Power: 0 Is it a resistor problem
If my halo ring isnt working, could it be the resistor isnot strong enough. so what if I went to the Shack, picked up a bigger resistor, and just wired it into the wire coming out of the headlamp assembly? Wouldnt that solve the issue?

Rep Power: 0 The halo isn't working because it is not hooked up properly or it is burned out... a resistor isn't going to fix it. check your positive and ground connections...

Rep Power: 0 Resistor not strong? You know all a resistor does is create resistance to DC current. If it's wired in series you'll get more voltage out of it, and it'll dissipate more heat, which could be bad. With electronics, it could be any number of things. Bad components, bad wires, shorted wires, bad connection, incorrect installation, or even just a bad product. Look at all that wiring and make sure there isnt any exposed copper. Then triple check all your connections. And finally, check to make you the halo ring isnt burned out. They're LED's right? If so, you can go back to RadioShack, buy some and solder them in yourself, if you know how.
