Need help working on halo projectors

OK so since I pulled them out I noticed a few things. One of the LEDs in the ring on one headlamp was flickering. Whether I touched the wire to play with it or not the LED flickered. So I think its a resistor issue.

What I want to do is pull the headlamp apart and try to pull off the halo ring and see if I could simply put a new resistor on it. If so that would be awesome, if not I will order or make a new halo ring and set it in place.

My questions pertains to anyone with experience with this.

Would you assume it would be a resistor as well if one LED is lit up very bright and the other is dull and flickering?

How can I go about pulling apart the headlamp without damaging it ie. baking?

Any ideas on how else it could be fixed or what else might be wrong with it.

I also have an issue with the parking lamp and turn signal bulbs. For some reason the bulb connectors that are on the car will not fit flush and tight with the openings on the projectors. so I figure my option here is to take a dremel and cut out the opening from the stock headlamp, and epoxy it to the projector to hold the light tightly sealing it from moisture. sound like it is feasible?

Here's one, Could I just wire a resistor to the wires coming out of the back of the projector housing and see if that works to fix the problem?
