7th gen recall for ignition?
every now and then, mine wont start up on the first try...i take my key out , press the clutch and try again and that works everytime; still should start on first try....i wonder if that has to do anything with the recall

yeah . .I've had 2 different things happen to me, kinda weird. . once it was like the car flooded itself when I was trying to start, so I had to crank it for a long time and it cleared out and started..
Another time, while I was trying to start it the immobilzer was flashing at me. . So I shut the car off, pulled the key out, put it back in and it started..
About the ignition recall, if you aren't talking about the R-Kelly song then no, there aren't any recalls for the 7th gen ignition. .
However, the CRVs just had a recall for the ignition last month, so maybe that's what you heard.
Oh and the R-kelly song. . "I lost my keys to the ignition, somewhere in the kitchen".. hehe. .
