Hello. In case you haven't figured it out already, I am a noob here. I got myself a new shift ****, put it on just fine, but the shift boot is mind boggling. The little silver ring on the top of the boot just kinda sits there, and eventually works its way down. That's bad. How do I attach the shift boot to the aftermarket ****? The **** I have is the Pilot Motorsports PM-120E. It is the farthest **** to the left on this website. Thanks in advance.

ok, thanks. It looks like I should've gotten a ****/boot combo, but oh well. Black electrical tape does the trick for now, but hopefully i'll find something more permanent.

there is like a zip tie kinda thing on the inside of the little silver ring. I cut it off, and it looks way better... Why do you need it anyway? Then I just folded the top part of my shiftboot inwards and slipped it up onto my shift ****... look

i think i'm gonna try that removing the silver ring thing...the **** I have has two pieces, so maybe I can sandwitch the boot in between....anyways, as soon as I have enough time to get the center console off, I'll do it.
