taking off body kit (lips) for the winter

ive got aero kit sides- i remember they had a lot of mounting hardware when i installed them. can i take the sides off for the winter and be okay?? ill have to buy new double sided tape, but that shouldnt be a problem.

what do you guys use to take the sticky residue off our cars? i once used goof-off on my friends car, and some clear coat rubbed off thanks!

you can take them off, it will be a pain to do it every winter though. Goo-gone/goof-off should work without taking the clear coat off. Just give that spot a wax right afterwards.
