I've had my M3 mirrors for quite a while and can't figure out to have them stay on my ride. I have the kind where you need to use the stock bolts (from stock mirrors) to install them. The problem is that the bolt is to small (not wide enough) for the mirror mounts and they wont stay in there. I haven't been able to find an adhesive that can hold metal and plastic together. I've tried epoxy, and many other adhesive and they'll work for a while, but then it it eventually gives in to the weight of the mirror.

Anybody else have this problem and how was is it resolved.

New bolts? What size?

I have my mirrors painted and ready and I'm really frustated that I cant install them.

Any info would be appreciated.

I installed some 1.5 inch width screws to thread the holes.

How long were they? I think lenght is a factor here also

Cut em to the lenth you need, you dont need that much.
