Ok so since my computer is retarded, or maybe I am, I'll try this again... I took my car to the dealership a while ago to have a tire replaced...I gave the car to them with the valet key because I have school stuff in the trunk I didn't want them messing with. I got the car back with a new tire and an extra key attached to the valet key. I didn't notice this until I got home. I locked the car, and using the key, being a totally different tooth configuration, I tried it. It opened ALL the locks on my car, but did not start the engine, due to the immo. system. I tried the key in my friend's 7th gen and voila! open sesme! I think the dealership may have given me a "skeleton key." I didn't even know they existed. I just thought you all might have some insight into WTF this key is. Like I said before, it has a COMPLETELY different tooth config. than ANY of MY keys....any ideas?
Whoa, whoa, whoa there you were just handed pandora's box there my friend. question is, will you do the right thing or return it? or screw all hondas by distributing it???
P.S. if it does work and you decide to screw the world...i'lltake one

It's not like he's the only person in the whole world to have this key. Have you seen some of the shady types doing oil changes at YOUR local dealer?
BTW - Do you accept PayPal, and how fast do you ship??

good thing i'm planning on doing a doorlock conversion.
I'm taking the rear handles off of a sedan and swapping mine out (thus no keyhole). power doorlocks w/ keyless entry required for this.

Well I could sell the origional to one of you lucky buyers for say, 3g's but I'm afraid I wouldn't get that much, or I could make copies and sell them for $100/each...but that doesn't seem right either. Being that my father's a cop, and I'm a criminal justice major, the first two options are pretty much out, unless someone makes the $3000.00 offer, lol, I think I will do further testing on my co-workers cars (6th gen civic, and prelude), but in the end, I will probably just keep it and mess with my friends for a while, then return it to the rightfull owner, but I gotta have some fun first!
