Okay- We were all noobies once so I will help...
Yes, you can take out the orange reflector, we refer to that as clearing the headlights. It is a simple process you can on your own by following our simple DIY. On the left hand side of the screen, under menu, you will see DIY is capital letters. Click there and goto Exterior. From there you will see a link that says "Clearing your 7th gen headlights and bumper removal". That is your link. It is quite easy but takes some time. Dont be scared, I was, but it ended up being easier than I expected. If you have any more questions, let me know and I wil try to help.
