what's the difference between a short ram air intake and a regular one wich one would be the most convenient to put in my car (2002 civic si), i you could gine me brands and web sites to look for them please.

Basically the difference between a short ram and a cold air intake is the short ram is short which makes it easier to install as far as not haveing to run the piping down into the pocket by the front bumper. But as far as the gains the cold air intake will make higher hp than the short ram because once the engine compartment gets hot the short ram will be sucking up all that hot air compared to the cold air which will get the cooler air that flows underneath the car.
