Rep Power: 0 Need a manual
Does anyone know where one can pick up a Honda manual for the 2002 Si?
My friend bought his without a manual, second hand from someone else and they must have lost it or something.
Honda charge too much, is there anywhere else i can get one?

Yes, Honda and Ebay would be about the only places to get an official manual.
Otherwise try some 3rd party books, eg Hayes I think it is. They make books of nearly every model car and often they are more detailed and easier to read than the manufacturer manuals.

Yeah...I'd go with Haynes manuals. I use a Haynes for my 92 civic. It gives you a ton of information, and the pictures are VERY clear so it's easy to follow along with whatever you're doing.

The manufacturer manual usually has only very simple point form information.
They dont encourage you to do repairs yourself, because obviously they want you to pay for services (bad!).
These Haynes etc though explain things in alot more details I have found.

Manuals
If you can't acquire a manual, try googling the information you need. For manuals to keep in your car, I also reccomend Haynes; if for some reason you don't like them however, I'm pretty sure your local bookstore should have many copies of Honda Civic Si manuals by different writers, since the model is pretty popular.

I suggest looking on eBay, as about everybody on the planet knows they can have insanely low prices and great deals. If you have no luck you can look into the Haynes - they are also great.

This is a Haynes book about modifying the Civic.
Highly recommended

Make friends with a mechanic at a Honda Dealership. Then get him to get you a manual.
Best way to find one is to scout out the blue collar strip bars within a 7 mile radius of your local Honda Dealer. It may take a while to find one, but eventually you will find a mechanic or two. Befriend, them, buy them some lapdances, then hit them up for a manual.

I dont think it works like that twinkle. as nice as it might be, mechanics who work for car manufacturers dont give freebies.... they would have way too many people asking if they did that.

Thats an example of a chiltons manual.
Im pretty sure they have already made an 06 manual, but you'd have to double check.
