think i sucked up some water.

we had a storm last night that dropped alot of water in a short period of time. i hit a puddle of water going about 55. it broke my headlight bulb but i think i sucked up some water. its hesitating when accelerating but there isn't any water in the oil and the air filter isn't wet what else should i check?

Re: think i sucked up some water.

is it a factory air intake? im not sure how big the puddle was but it mustve been huge to splash water up to where the battery is (and air inlet). if the car still drives, it will prolly work its way out over time.
