Re: Torque Steer

torque steer is inevitable in FWD cars that are making good power. Torque steer can be improved and to tell you the truth won't be bad in a Civic. It's not like your going to be fighting the wheel or anything. I think your friend might be smoking something.

Re: Torque Steer

he smokes weed frequently. So i dont have to worry about puting a turbo kit on the Si and turning the wheel left and going right.

Re: Torque Steer

It does happen. My stock 98 horsepower civic does it to me if i have the wheel turned and i slam on the gas pedal. It's tough to straighten the wheel out. It does not reverse the function of the steering wheel as your making it sound though. It's all part of the FWD fun Turbo it up.

Re: Torque Steer

Well the Si has a limited slip differential, a geared one at that. So the more torque you put on the axle shafts, the harder it will bite and make the 2 spin =.

Re: Torque Steer

Ive personally never played with turbo so I can't even tell you where to start unfortunately I think a good place to look though is the for sale area of this forum, and search the forum. There is tons of information here about turbos
