Moddin' my D13B2 (Civic 1.35 94')
My first post so hello.
It's my first car so I needed something cheap(fuel, insurance, etc) and reliable but with a bit of performance for a first car.
So I'm thinking getting an induction kit(http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...:X:RTQ:GB:1123), decat, performance HT leads(http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/K1-Performance...item2556a9064c) and anything else that would give it a bit of a boost. I've also heard about an ignition power booster that attaches onto your HT leads I believe, would that make a difference or not and if yes where could I find one? And do you know if my Civic has a side entry manifold?
And I know many of you are going to say "there's no point it's slow anyway", but it's my first car so just want to make it quicker.

Re: Moddin' my D13B2 (Civic 1.35 94')
welcome. with an older car alot of mods that really help are restoring the car back to when it was new. tuneup items like new ngk plugs and wires, new cap and rotor, new pcv valve and oxygen sensors, etc do give a big boost. ignition upgrade may also help if your stock wiring isnt providing as much power as it should. check the power wire going into the ignition coil with a multimeter with the car running. if it is around 14v, youre fine, any lower and you would benefit from either upgrading to a thicker relay harness (which you can make yourself for $10-20) or going aftermarket. as for additional performance, every lil bit helps. air intake, header, exhaust, will give some extra power. stick with name brands tho for the best gains and fitment. alot of the cheap ebay stuff will not fit on the car properly.
