Re: tint removal
they sell special solution at the auto store. then once the tint peels off, youre stuck removing mass amounts of adhesive stuck to the windows that has to be removed. put some towels around the plastic parts otherwise the solution and stuff will get everywhere and ruin them. be very careful in the rear window not to pull off the defroster lines. go slow and pull parallel to the lines, in small sections.
Re: tint removal
go 2 wall mart and get some razor blades and nail polish remover. scrape of tint and extra **** that is left behind as much as possible. then take the nail polish remover and a hand rag and scrub! took me about 20 min 2 do my 2 front windows.
Re: tint removal
yea be careful around the defrost lines and if you get your windows retinted ask if he/she will tint inbetween the defrost lines and not on top of them. thats how i have mine tinted. it took like 3 hours for the guy to tint my car but it was worth the wait he didnt charge extra either he just asked me if i wanted it like that. so if the tint place says they wont, go somewhere else cause somebody will.
Re: tint removal
haha why you cant even tell. i thought it was weird when he asked that but i like it and plus no glue on the defrost lines so if i ever need to take my tint off i dont have to worry about ripping the defrost lines off. and even with little gaps (not even a centimeter) in between the tint and defrost lines barely any light gets through my back window.
