What's up y'all I really need some advice on purchasing an engine. Should I go with a JDM b16 or a USDM ? what are the differences, and what are the pros and cons???? I have a dude that will sell me the jdm b16 changeover and install it for 2,700. What do you guys think? I've heard that jdm engines are hard to pass smog and that they are a litlle higher maintenance.

if speed is what u r lookin for u should go with the USDM....
but even though the maintnance on a JDM b16 may be a buck or two higher you can really get speed out of them as well but not as much as with thfe USDM....
b16's are not really known for machanical problems anyhow unless u are extremely hard on ur vehicles......as far as racing and things its not an issue.

Well he bought it for his DA and he decided that he was guna get a new si instead.. The engine and tranny has 40k. No damage in the motor. But it came from a care that was rear ended. *Motor perfectly fine.* =) well hit me up or txt me 323 943 4551. *Ben*
