7th gen civic pulling an ATV?
7th gen civic pulling an ATV?
Hello All,
I'm thinking about buying an ATV / Quad. Think my 01 civic lx be able to tug a 600-1000 lb atv? The tranny was replaced in 03 and engine in 06, so car is somewhat young despite it being older.
Would I need a trailer with brakes? I'm thinking of getting a hidden hitch system installed.
I live in Ontario so there won't be any mountain travel. Just some rolling hills.
Thanks in advance for the advice.

Probably about 80-120 miles each way, so total of 160-240 miles 3 times a month.
I suppose I could rent a storage unit up north and reduce the miles driven with it, but thats money that could be spent on cc

Now you going off the deep end.... These cars are not made for this... Do not get a tranny cooler... do not get a hitch.... keep the car just the way it is, and go buy a little import pickup truck, or if you dont want to go economy, then get a full size import truck... the 03 silverado V6 and all the domestics i have had have been average at best.... im import all the way now
