do you think HID blue tint film from rvinyl.com is a decent substitute for HID's? And is the film reliable ? Thanks.

lol. first, even the clear film reduces light output from scattering. second, a slight blue tint is barely gonna do anything. it will make the light much dimmer with a bit of whiter light, like a sylvania cool blue or silverstar bulb would. third, once enough rocks hit it, you will start to have a very ugly looking headlamp. i tried the clear one a while back (on my first hid retro) and took it off a week later. not worth it.

if you are interested in the effect, go find a newer mitsu eclipse, it has a bluish tinted eye lens in front of the bulb but it doesnt do anything for color.
