Hi everyone,

I want to thank you all for this forum, now I would like you to help me, because my car doesn't have power after started, when the car is cold it's ok, but after 10 mins, when I stop and start again, I have to revolutionise more than necessary the car to have a good start, and it's harder when I am on a hill, I need to put the handbreak, revolutionise it, then it starts with low power. Another issue is that it consumes a lot fuel and besides it has extrange sounds, like little hits under the car, but I have checked it and it doesn't have anything wrong. All these issues started after I took my car to the mechanic to check everything. If you can give an idea, I could take my car to a good mechanic telling him exactly what is the problem.

sounds like maybe bad oxygen sensor, or clutch going out too.

Whats the year, make, modle of your vehicle and is your check engine light on?

Hi, thanks all for your replies, the Car is Honda Civic Model 95, LX Sedan, and yes, when is turned on the check engine appears on but when starts the motor, that check engine turns off. All these problems started after I took my car to the mechaninc, and I could guess it is the clutch, but it can also be the oxygen because that problem didn't happen before... :S

id say to check out the sensor first and if its an automatic then check the transmission because if its loosing power then the tranny might be to fault and if the check engine light comes on then that could also me the transmission... also for the gas problem it could be both the sensor and fuel pump... check the sensor first because if its idol is terrible that means the sensor is out and will cause the fuel pump to fluctuate

it could also be a headgasket. i just replaced mine and it was sounding like thumping and sputtering in the exhaust and engine. and i lost a ton of power from the car and the gas went down too

Now my car is working correctly and the problem was with one of the injectors that I had to replace, and now it has the right power, Thank you all!
