I have a 1999 Civic LX W/4 speed Automatic. when I slow down the tranny down shifts quite hard on its own. I am just wondering if this is normal or a sign of trouble too come. I have only had the car for about a month so I don't know if it has always done this. I hope it is just the norm.

change the tranny fluid? and use honda atf only.

with honda fluid? hmm, try throwing in some lubecontrol.com LC20 in there. like 10 oz of it lol. but take out some of the old fluid first. i have that in mine and it shifts like butter.
