Civic Noob Please help!

I recently bought a 2007 Civic LX sedan and i want to know more about my own car.

-what type of engine to i have?
-can someone explain more about ivtech?
-what can i do to upgrade my performance?
-is there a way to change my dashboard lights?

if you can think of other questions and answer, please let me know.

Re: Civic Noob Please help!

Not sure about engine -Check the owners manual it'll lead you to the engine number (not sure where it's stamped on the motor for 8th gen but its in there)

I-vtec -go to wikipedia.com and get that explaination (way too much to post here)

Performance -first intake then exhaust (my opinion the best way to go)

Dashboard -of course (likely more difficult than you think)

Good luck with the new civic.

Re: Civic Noob Please help!

wow, just wow.

Lots of misinformation here.

2006+ has r18 or k20 (Si) [excluding gx and hybrid models].
