Exclamation cleanin?

should I detail my engine before or after I put a new cold air intake on?
and how should i clean it?
it has all of that dirt and grime all over it.

I would do it before the air intake, and buy a can of engine degrease. Follow instructions on can and you'll be ok.

well my neighbor is the one that got me into fixin up hondas cause he used to mod them out.
so me nd him put it on yesterday it looks and sounds great.
I just need to clean some of that grime off.
but do you suggest paintin the manifold?
because I want to sort of color coordinate silver and blue.
but i'm not sure if pantin the manifold is a good idea.
He said to use High Temp paint on it.
