i was wondering if anyone knows the shelf life for exhausts. i have a 5Zigen fireball full catback, and it's rusted a hole.

my car has been in norcal, tx, in storage for 2 1/2 years and in md.

is it worth trying to repair (if that's even possible)?

if not, i was thinking about maybe just getting an axleback exhaust.

help?

Most auto stores sell the muffler and exhaust pipe wrap tape but of course it's only temporary.

Its used to cover up small holes in mufflers and pipes.

i would buy the axel back cuz when you let a car sit for long peiods off time condensation builds up in the exhaust so you baffels are most likey rusted .so after a few times of the exhaust flow hitting them they will blow out
