Hi,

I just bought my '00 EX a few weeks ago, so I figured I oughta register on some of these forums.

Perhaps you could help me on a few things... first off... the transmission jerks sometimes. When I'm barely on the gas in 1st or 2nd... it jerks violently (not all the time, just sometimes... also when I am cruising down the freeway, and let off the gas, it feels like the transmisson mounts are bad (it clunks a little) then, I hit the gas again... and it does the same thing. I've checked the trans mounts, and engine mounts... can't find it. Anyone know what else it may be?

Second - I'm getting a CES light. I've seen a way to check CES lights without using a scanner... is it possible on my '00?

OH... and while I'm asking questions... how do you get the dang stereo out? According to the last owner, it keeps loosening up... and so it squeaks. I thought I knew how... but I couldn't seem to git 'r dun. HELP?

LOL... yes, I know... I run one myself... however... I thought with all the 230 active Civic owners kicking around here... I'd get at least a "hi" within the first day or so... no biggie... thanks for the welcome! The problem re-surfaced... and I'm hoping I can "cheap fix" it tomorrow... otherwise, I'm putting more money into it. LOL

Yep, sure do! LOL... So, today I "cheap" fixed it.. let's see if it lasts...
