do you guys who have them like where the shifter is? i was thinking about getting rid of my 04 ex and getting a 04 or 05 si? let me know your thought on the car...thank you

Exactly. The shifter is "Ralley Style" and as such is meant to be more COMFORTABLE..and CONVENIENT. (sp?) If you really think about it, the shifter is only about 2-3" away from the steering wheel...whereas a floor mounted shifter is MUCH further....thus lengthening the time that you only have 1 hand on the steering wheel...

If that makes sense. lol

BTW>...I LOVE MY 2004 Honda Civic Si (aka EP3)

The shifter in the si feels better. At least to me, its closer to you. Actually I like the interior a little tight but I like it.

I just sold my 01' LX auto and got a 04' Si last week, the shifter is very comfortable and i love where it is.
