Exclamation Help! 95' Civic!

Okay so I have a big problem right now. I was driving my civic one day and it started to idle really low when I am at a full stop. Also my car struggles up hills and it feels like my clutch wasn't gripping! I thought it was a clutch slip so I replaced my flywheel, pressure plate, TOB, Pilot bearing and clutch. I also replaced the rear main seal since it was leaking. I even replaced the oil pan gasket. Now correct me if I am wrong but when a clutch slips the rpm shoot up high right? Well this "slip" felt like the car was idling too low and it feels like its not getting enough power. Oh....and yes the problem continued after I replaced my clutch. The old clutch wasn't even worn out yet -_-'' Oh and this "low idling " problem along with a "slip" or "sputter" happens when I drive for more then 5 miles. Soooo when it gets warm. And another thing (sorry ) When I was done doing my repairs I drove it home and when I tried to crank the engine it wouldn't turn over. It would keep cranking and cranking but I don't know =( Starts fine when its cold!
Please help guys! Thanks!

Well the thing is it didn't throw any check engine lights. I mean it would on occasion, but when I turn off the car and turn it on again it goes away. It comes on randomly.

Re: Help! 95' Civic!

trye running the codes, it's usually free at most repair shops. the LED can burn out, or the wires could be old, you never know. so if you're having problems check.

Re: Help! 95' Civic!

Okay the problem was my distributor cap and rotor. The cap had so much crud inside of it. Looked like rust. So I changed them and =) Thanks for the help though!

Re: Help! 95' Civic!

Why would you change the most expensive things first?

A clutch will NEVER throw a check engine light, just so you know for the future.
