Gas Mileage Decrease?
Gas Mileage Decrease?
I drive in central NM. My gas mileage as suddenly decreased from between 34 - 36 down to about 29 - 30 mpg. Two weeks ago I was driving in AZ and over to CA and my gas mileage was averaging between 36 - 39 mpg. My power is the same and nothing has changed. I go to the same gas station every time I fill up.
Any ideas?
I appreciate it.

Re: Gas Mileage Decrease?
when u drive to AZ to CA, u were doing mostly highway, which will almsot give u more mpg where as if u were driving city (getting 30mph ish)
also check ur tire pressre. are they at 30psi? check ur air filter as well, see if it got clogged or anything.
then if all else, unplug the battery for a few mins to reset the ecu....
