Engine cooling fan

Hi
I have a Honda civic SI 98' (third owner)
yestarday i spotted that there smoke comming out of the hood so i checked it
and it was comming from the radiator cooling fan - the cooling fluid was at max but the fan didn't work i checked the fuse box but it was good - and somehow the fan turned on so i thought it was all good - but today smoke came out again from the same place (radiator cap) i check to fluid inside and there is none left (where yesstarday it was at max) - so i filled it to max again, turned on the car and checked was goin on, if i would touch the gas pedal smoke would start comming out from the radiator cap, so i turned it off and checked my engine oil ( and the oil changed colors from black to yellowish - like it was mixed with water or something) - and i dont know what can be the problem and why does the cooling fan not turn on ?

Can somebody suggest what i should do ?
Thank you

Re: Engine cooling fan

blown headgasket, cracked block, cracked head, bad radiator cap, leaking radiator. so many things. you have to do a cylinder leakdown test. that will tell you if its the motor or not. if it is well then... that sucks. if it isnt then the cooling system has a leak somewhere.
