remove bumper to change oil.

i had to take my front bumper off to change my oil today. my car is to low to get the jack under it. anyone else have this problem with a drop and kit? it wasn't a big deal but i though it was kinda funny.

You shouldn't have to take off the bumper, that's rediculous!, Why don't you just drive up onto a couple of 2x4's, under each front tires, that should give you enough room to fit a jack, thats what I do.

Uh use the OEM jack to get it up enough to get the real jack underneath. That is what I do. The 2x4's work too.

hi, try drive up on a piece of wood, then you can fit in the oem jack (it is really low), then when you get enough height you can use pump jack.

yeah, thats the easiest. Takes me like 3 minues to get my car up on stands. The real jack, doesnt fit under my FMIC, and probably wont make it under the bumper. My car is pretty low, but I just use the OEM jack first. You only have to get it up a little bit with it

I think you guys are a little too low if you can't fit a jack under your car. I just wish I could go that low. Damn Jersey and its gay *** roads.

I'm not that low and my jack won't fit under the car either. I just pick the car up high enough to slip the jack under the car with my foot.

yeah I bought one of those $99 low profile craftsman jacks. It takes up the slack in one pump, has a magnetic tray, and a padded handle. I have yet to find a car that it wont fit under that can actually be driven on the streets around here.
