What should I do next?
What should I do next?
I drive a 99 civic EX but I did a engine swap and tranny swap.
The Engine is a b18b1
The Tranny is a b16a out of a CiVIC SI
Anyway im trying to get more speed from my car so can you tell me what upgrades do I need to do next to make this car go a lot faster or just get anywhere from 80-150 more HP1
I will tell you what else I did I changed the headers, air intake, TANABE RACING MEDALLION MUFFLER WITH CUSTOM PIPING, and OBD 1 JUMPER HARNESS, P75 ECU so what do I need to do next? HELP!!!

Re: What should I do next?
Thanks I was thinking about getting a turbo kit but if u can answer this question for me too it would be very helpful.
Would the turbo help me best between 0-60 or top end speed?
Thanks

Re: What should I do next?
im not sure if that was sarcastic or not but...
its that simple man!

Re: What should I do next?
I would even go a bit further and say that you should at least do a mild build on the block and get some ARP headstuds if you plan on spraying. I had a buddy that sprayed a 75 shot on his stock head/block 92 teggy and the motor didn't last long at all.
I'm sure it would still be running great to this day had he tuned it and spent a little extra cash on making sure that it would hold. Build for a 100 shot, then spray a 75.

re: spray/N2o
another tip is to let the engine tame down some before your next shot of N2o
to give the engine a chance to come back to operating temps soforth.
ive seen it where the shoot a 50.....shoot another 50....until WhAm! the motors had it!
Although the VW bug i seen this in was fast,....didnt last long!
but at another note: imho, i wouldnt touch N2o until the last thing myself.!!
first build the engine up, boost it, tune it, then nos it!
