'06 Summber Meet
So a bunch of people are interseted in having a meet this summer. Lets start off by shooting for the last Saturday in June and if thats not good for everyone then we can change it. The last Saturday is the 26.
We need a place, Alexandria was thrown out there, but if anyone has suggestions speak up. I think that we shold get a roll call of where everyone is located, and find a median. Or if there is a big number in New Orleans or something, the we can go to them or whatever. Lets just get some suggestions

Rep Power: 0 if it comes down to it i will drive down to n.o. but i'm gonna be driving 1500 miles that week just to get home. that is the only reason i'm so reluctant to do so. if we can get a good group "that will actually show" i'm good for n.o. 100%. hopefully we'll get some hits. - nate

and i am only an hour away from N.O. so I am good wtih that

yeah sweet, i'll be up for it, not sure where you will have it maybe lakefront or something i dunno up to you but all i know is you need more than 3 people HA. If you let me know its going down for sure 100% and in N.O. and all, i can put it on www.NOstreetracing.com, then again it won't be 7th genz, but there all, or atleast most of them, are from N.O.

Rep Power: 285 ight well i know a guy with a badass 7thgen, but hes trying to sell it. if its not sold im sure he will be in. and if its non-7thgen then i got a 00si also. i say we have a 7thgen meet early in the day, then later everyone can meet up??? just an option

Rep Power: 0 personally i say the more people we can get to go the better. i'm gonna put it up on the louisiana boards on s2ki.com and see how many folks i can get to come. like i said i'll be driving down from north nebraska that week. that's 15 - 16 hours. but i'll drive a few more hours to new orleans if it'll be worth it. is the lakefront even worth going to any more ? are there any other places to go ? so just put out the word. if any of yall need to get ahold of me my # is 318-715-0411. so just give me a call. later, nate

dont know if u want to reconsider the date but i was told there is a big car show in boloxi on the 26th so u may lose some people to that

Rep Power: 0 i just talked to a few guys from s2ki that like in new orleans and they said the lakefront is still pretty crappy. yall say that your from new orleans. go check it out. i need a rock solid location or i'm gonna have to take my thread off the other site. if i can get a few folks from shreveport and monroe to come yall might just have to make the horrible 2 1/2 hour sacrifice. i know its an insane thing to ask.

im not from new orleans so i am not going check nothing out. i drove 6+ hours both ways for a meet, and it wasnt worth it too me. i am not driving that far again. i will drive up to 2 hours one way and thats all. if more ppl are willing to go to shreveport and monroe and alexandria then yall go ahaead but im gonna sit out.
also lafayette is just as good too.

we dont know a location yet. i'm no wheres near NO so i cant look. someone mentioned Ponchatrain Center if nothing is going on. It also looking to be July 1st

Rep Power: 0 well , i just decided to wait a little bit longer to come home. sorry on my part. it will be the end of july if i want to have my s2000 boosted when i come home. there will be a 400+ hp s2000 and srt4 coming down there then. hope yall have a good meet.
