2002 CR-V, Removing the fender to replace windshield fluid reservoir

Hi there,

I'm attempting to remove my front fender to replace the windshield reservoir in my 02 CR-V, but having never done it before, I'm hoping to get a few tips so I don't break the molding, etc.

Any tips or directions to threads with helpful pictures on 1) Removing the fender and 2) replacing the reservoir?

Thanks!
Cheers,
Briana

Step 1: If you had a decent service manual, it should let you know the fender does not get removed.

Step 1: The plastic wheel well liner (splash shield) gets removed in order to access the reservoir.

I saw one of those a couple weeks ago that had cracked and would pee washer fluid straight out between the door and the fender. A few dabs of RTV gasket sealer and a few hours to allow it to cure fixed the leak for nearly free.
