Honda K24a1 Pre swap Tranny question.

I am intertested in putting in a K24a engine from a CRV that I am going to "frank" out. I am having tranny problems now. I lost my 2nd gear when clutch went out. I want to fix that but i dont want to have to buy a extra tranny I would like to buy one with carbon synchros, so when I swap the engine I will have a transmission that can handle the power. Please be kind I am new to all of this. I have no idea where to start.

I have a 02 Civic ex 1.7l.

Thank you

When you swap to a k24, you have to get a k series tranny. Your transmission now won't work. It's a good idea just doing a rebuild or buying a new transmission right now
