Now you'll have to drill out the countersunk portions of the pattern. You'll need to countersink all of the holes. Just make sure that the heads of the screws you'll use will hide all the way. I used a drill bit that's not really that accurate. It produced these rough edges. I would reccomend buying a countersinking bit that's made specifically for aluminum (if such a bit exists). I took the cheap way out; I used what I had.

Mine took less then 3 hours, and this was the first set ive made. Hard part = forming the brake pedal to the mount. The gas pedal is easiest done out of the car. Having the proper tools helps alot too. Band saw, drill press and a bench Sander would be ideal. But it can be done with a hand drill, a jig saw, file and sand paper

A full set (clutch, brake, and gas) takes about 15 hours for me to make. I've made about 3 - 4 sets for various people (including myself). I've gotten good at it. I take my time and I pay attention to the details. It still takes me a while to make though. That's 15 hours non-STOP. I don't do it non-STOP though 'cause I get tired, so I'de say... 4 - 5 days of working on them with 2 - 3 hours per day. It depends on how detailed you want to get.

I agree on the time frame. Mine by no means are PERFECT and the hours i did spend show
. But then again give them a couple months and the wear wont show now
I have thought about if i can spark some interest from friends and such maybe setting up a small anodizing line. If i were to do that then im sure i would spend more time on getting them to look much better.
Today im going to look at the possibility of removing the factory plastic dead pedal and making an all aluminum one
