Well the current status is this,
I'm making valve covers this weekend.......and as far as the hood design package...I can not find a manufactuer to supply large quantities of gas springs and mounting brackets for a reasonable rate to sale.....I would be forced to charge a price not really marketable to you guys in order to make my profit....so the only thing I can do right now is sale you the design instructions, and you guys buy the materials, which would really be the cheapest thing anyway...but I'm still checking. The last thing is the trunk design....I've been to busy to design...although other memebers have already done that mod...Peace and thanks for your intrest.

Hey allman...
I am very interested in the instructions.
How much would it be?
Could you private message me your information so I can send you the money ASAP.
That would be awesome because I am getting together with a couple of 2k1 civic ppls this month.
peace out!

Well so far I've had no problems w/ money orders but I may do the paypal account set-up if enough orders come in. I can sale the instructions with detailed schematics, colored pictures, and installation pictures using my car as an example and all necessary design and material info for $15.
I took some pictures, closer up for all to see....

Yo allman it wouldnt be hard for you to make the 4 (spark plug covers) i know thats not what they are im just to drunk to think of what they are right now but you know what im talkin about. I think it would look a lot more complete with that. dont mean to dog you youve done more than anyone else and i know everyone agrees with that

Actually they are already done...I made them back in November/December...and they are in the pictures.....it is just the light refelects to much...taking pictures of polished aluminum is hard due to reflections....so if people like the pictures, then the real mod is much better......!...thanks for input though!...Peace
I just edit this message to show the new picture of my polished pieces your refering to...look "HERE"...Peace!

ALLMAN, and fellows, i installed gas shocks on my honda last weekend. To tell you the truth I found gas shocks at AutoZone. I found some that are about 12 inches long. i thought that they may not support the hood but i was wrong. it works wonderful...i havent done my trunk yet but will soon. You will also need the brackets....I had to get them at a truvalue. Anyways, I share this with you ALLMAN cause it will save you shipping from online. I wont tell anybody how i did it cause I dont want to steal your limelight..lol...so on with your plans...i think its a great idea...have at it...OH and your valve cover design is flawless...wonderful idea....i may decide to purchase one from you...good job
Hey Allman your car is one of the nicest cars at 2k1civic.com! So how much would it be for the valve cover with the 4 other smaller covers shipped and everything? Thanks in advance. Your civic looks great keep up the great work!
