Aftermarket Stereo Removal

I have a jvc deck in the vehicle that was installed before i purchased the car; is there a way to take it out without going through the process that you would if it was a stock headunit? Does the single deck with the cutaway just pop out or do i have to remove the whole dash?

If its installed properly, no. Head unit is screwed onto the head unit bracket, which is bolted down behind the panel with the cigarette lighter adapter
