Great...ANOTHER safety requirement (read:stupid decision) by the SCCA...

I'm still (and always will be) upset about ST not being able to use REAL tires....lol

I don't get this...
Club Racing requires airbags to be disabled, and the likelihood of hitting something that hard at an autocross is slim to none unless the safety stewards did something terribly wrong.
Not only is this stupidly obvious, its completely unnecessary.

I agree to a point.

Think about how many times (esp. in the newer gen civic's) that you've whipped the steering wheel around, and ended up smacking your head on either the window, B-pillar, or even the roof (as I've done many times). Have you ever hit it hard enough to kinda jolt your conciousness? I know I have...

But on that same idea...would I have hit my head...if I didn't have that extra 2" of "head" lol?

I disable my airbags anytime i'm racing my car. I don't need a another $3k tapped onto my bill when i eat a tire wall
