Me Vs STS national Champ...
So it was a wonderful 2 day event this weekend out here in chilly Las Vegas. A couple of things made it noteable....
1. Ken Motonishi, last years STS national Champ and this years STS Pro solo champ came out and ran with us.. He Co-drove my friends 89 Si, the same one I co-Drove earlier in the year..... He is one hell of a driver
Kens Top time was a Fast 64.873.. Dave, the owner of the car and Former F125 national Champ ran a 66.169, 1.296 seconds slower then Ken. Me.... I pulled a Measly 68.559 in my Over weight underpowered Civic for 3rd.
2. The Isley's came out to run with us, Jason came in 2nd at this years nationals in A-Stock and his wife came in 1st in A-Stock Ladies... they brought with them a Shiny new Miata preped for C-Stock... Both Jason and his wife are amazing to watch run.
and 3. I got to drive my Friends CRX again, and I didnt spin it this time!!!
Autocross preped CRX = Snap oversteer problem.
Some picks of the event..
Ken Driving Daves car with dave in it.

^ yea after a season on azenies, my roof started getting these wrinklish dents around the sunroof, they tell me its because of the body flexing under hard cornering.
Yes...they do that quite nicely.

Yea my friend that I autocross with has the came car/setup as me, been autoXing for like 2 years...no wrinkles.
Maybee its an 02 thing, since the 01s dont seem to do that.

I have an 03. I noticed roof noise after I installed the bigger front swaybar and even more when I had the neuspeed swaybar bushings in. I think because of the soft springs, too much force (from potholes, uneven pavement) goes through the swaybar to the front sway bar bushing brackets (then through the subframe, and up the flexy body). Hopefully I'll be getting stiffer springs and my old oem swaybar if Fattymcj ever sends it.

Well I have a 25.4 since mine is an 02 and it doesn't contribute to noise. Are the bushings polyeurathane? Cause I heard they start squeeking, but nothing a little regular greasing wont fix. Is it squeeking you hear?
I meant harshness and roof noise increased. Definetly from the sunroof area. This is compared to my oem 15.9mm bar. It's not poly bushing squeaking, I've gone from rubber to poly to rubber, front and back, I know what I'm talking about. Plus, I had a mysterious cracked windshield that started from the bottom passenger side, that was several months ago. I got Honda to finally repair it free because there were no nicks or craters on it, so we weren't sure what caused it. That was several months back, right before I sold all my poly bushings. Now, I'm starting to think that super old thread about neuspeed bushings and the roof wrinkling was true after all. I'll see if I can find it...
Ya, Ken is a good driver. Although he owns a 89 hatch just like that white one, so he knows the car in and out. He also just bought a shifter and has gone karting with us a couple times before.

Hey Zzyzx you see who your car is putting a lot of force on the outside. Is it possible to keep the car flat or even transter the weight the other side of the car realy quickly?

Not sure what you are getting at here, but.
there are only 3 ways to reduce weight transfer.
1. Physically remove weight from the car
2. Lower the center of gravity of the car
3. widen the track of the car.
Rember, body roll does not cause weight transfer, its an effect of wieght transfer.
