i think they're just different variations of street touring, what im thinking about doing is running STA or something in the afternoon so I can practice running X in the morning so I can have better runs in the afternoon

i would call up the event registrar and tell him your mods and ask him. Even the links on houston's site links you to Moutons which are standard SCCA classes. Damn texans always have to do things funny

Looks like theres an error with their classing....
according to their rules, the ITR would run STC, as would Civci Vtec Sohc Dohc 96+.... but then Integra GSR would run STD, with the Civic Si DOHC VTec 99-00.
It looks like they just took the Stock classing and applied ST rules to them.
So Technically you should be running STC
Let me check this classing vs the "official" rules..

I agree this makes little to no sense... why ITRs would run with D-powered Civics...
It sounds more like SP classing was applied with this one... ITRs run CSP, GSRs and Sis would run DSP... And I think so would the SOHC Civics...
maybe there's a typo... I think if I were you, I'd register STD.

^^ they should have used stock rules, because Street Touring isnt much more preped then stock.. Street Prepaired however is Drasticly more preped then stock.
