What's up!? My name is Amanda. I've always had a love for cars since I was able to learn what a tool was. So with that being said, I bought my 1st 97 Honda Civic Ex VTECH little over a yr ago. I'm learning as I go with A LOT MORE TO GO. I'm still in the process of bringing this baby back to life from the horrible abused shape it was in. If ANY Honda-fanatic would have seen the shape it was in would have lost their s**t!! Since Hondas last a lifetime if maintained. So let's get started shall we?

Thanks.
I'm nowhere near calling mine a car. I'm still taking mine apart down to the bare metal to clean it inside & out but still on the road. I'm still in awe on how nasty & unkept this car was.

I bought it with a blown head. I fixed that & not a month later the bottom end blew. So that is when the Y7 bottom emd went in. I know it has cruise control but don't know if it was connected back on the motor. Would you have a clue about it.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
Re: 1st Honda & new 2 forum
Does cruise work? First step is to see if it works.
Main switch on/IN? (pilot light may be burned out but switch should still work when clicked IN)
If it doesn't work then you can start to evaluate and figure out why....there's several things involved, most everything can be tested one way or another.
Got service manual? Got voltmeter?
Might be good to start a new thread if this is broken..
