Ello all :D

Hey everyone,

I stumbled upon this forum while googling civics. Sort of anyways. I figured the best way to learn more about my civic, what I could do to improve the look, and performance by joining a forum about civics. Good choice right?

So a little bit about me is that I'm a 25 year old college student residing within North Carolina. I'm originally from California. I lived in California almost all of my life by the beautiful redwoods, mountains, Pacific ocean, and Smith river. It twas a small town that didn't have much. I moved to North Carolina during the summer of 2014 and even though I miss the joys of California(besides the rip of state it is) I feel I have more opportunities here.

I have owned a few cars with a 2002 camaro being my first. I did acquire a 1998(I think?) Chevy 2500 dually diesel powered truck at one point but the truck broke down due to horrible maintenance with the clutch and shifter. It twas mg first manual vehicle and I do miss it. I then owned a 2012 Hyundai Elantra after my camaro blew a rod after 6-7 years of use. I traded the Elentra for a brand new 2014 Honda Civic EX-L

So, I currently own a 2014 Honda Civic EX-L automatic and have since fall of 2014. The car is definitely fun to drive. I'm greatful for the vehicles comfortablility, look, function, and the driving experience it brings me. I love how it has that little bit of power to get up and going when need be. The shift paddles can be fun to use too! Oh, the gas mileage

Re: Ello all :D

The rest didn't post? Weird.

However, as I mentioned I do wish to change the cosmetics of the vehicle somewhat along with some performance upgrades.

Kind of a long introductory :3

If anyone could help direct me to what may be illegal in my state for cosmetic or performance modifications ID be really greatful too!

You'll be seeing me post soon asking questions I promise xD

Welcome to the forum!

Each state has their own rules about stuff like window tint darkness, emissions, and safety items (if you're from Cali, you've probably had to deal with some of that). You'll have to check your local and state rules and regs.

And noise laws.
The town I live in has a noise ordinance against car stereos with BASS, if it can be heard from more than 50 feet you can get your car impounded and a hefty fine....But I've been running open pipes on my Harley for several years and cops haven't hassled me at all (yet) LOL

Welcome to the forum. Open up the restrictive intake and exhaust, it is surprising how much more response the little engine gets. Wheel upgrade is another idea. Ezone "Loud Pipes Save Lives", be heard, you've probably seen that one.
